It’s been more than a week since I’ve moved to Japan, and I’m almost allowed to leave my house!
I mean it’s only 14 days, and it’s quite short.
Rather, I didn’t realise a week had passed until I saw the continuation of the same TV drama playing.
Talking about drama, due to the COVID-19 and media companies not being able to film new movies, theatres are now showing old Ghibli movies!!!
That’s the first thing I want to do after I get out of quarantine.
I haven’t seen a lot of the older Ghibli movies, simply because I didn’t have the chance to, so I’m excited.
Did I tell you I still don’t have the PCR test results that I took at the airport?????
It’s been more than 10 days and I have not gotten a single contact from them.
My mother got an email for being tested negative long ago already, so I’m just going to assume I’m okay.
A difference I really felt between Singapore and Japan is how you deal with trash.
In Singapore, you kinda just throw everything down the rubbish chute and bye.
In Japan, you have to divide them for everything, then bring them out to the nearest collection point on each corresponding day. That means I can only throw out bottles and cans once a week, and I have to hold onto it until then.
And all plastic bags for grocery shopping are not free anymore! I’ve got a ton to get used to.
