最近圏外行く事多くない…？
おはようございます！けいとです！
昨日までティオマン島の奥地（ド圏外）に居たので、やっと都会に帰ってきました。
久しぶり（4日）にパソコンをいじったら急にタイピングが下手になっててびっくりしてます。
これこんな急に出来なくなるものじゃないよね。。。
さっきから誤字が激しくて打ち直しが多いんですけど。
え、私は何かを習得するとその犠牲に何か出来なくなる的な体質なの？？何これ怖い。
あ、そうですティオマン島に行ってました。
生物のIA（インターナルアセスメント）のためです！要は研究レポート！
島の主な部分は有名なリゾート地ではありますが、少し裏に行けばとても自然が豊かで、たくさんの生物や様々な地形、生息地のある島なんです。
めちゃめちゃ生物の研究に適してるんですよね。
私たちが行った部分は４つに分けられていて、ジャングルエリア、淡水の川エリア、マングローブエリア、そしてインタータイダルと呼ばれる潮間帯エリアの４箇所の好きなところで、好きな題材について研究する事が出来ました。
私は潮間帯が面白かったので、そこに生息する珊瑚について調べましたよ。
ただね潮間帯、その名の通り潮の満ち引きに影響されていて、引き潮の時しか地底が見えないんです。
私たちは海の底が研究したいので、引き潮に合わせなければならないんです。
その結果、夜11時から朝4時まで採取してました＾p＾
いやド深夜。
まっっっっくら。星は綺麗だったけど。
ヘッドランプの当たってるところ以外何も見えない。
というか夜の海死ぬほど冷たい。
大変でした。。。
みんなヘッドランプつけてるから、人と話そうとすると激しい逆行現象が起きて顔が一切見えず、相手が誰かさっぱりわからないし。
地面凸凹だし、水急に深くなるし。
よくわかんないナマコみたいのがそこら中に落ちてて全然見えなくて間違えて踏んでしまう事多分１０匹以上。
ナマコ、ごめんよ。
お前のカモフラージュが凄すぎて見えないんだ。
あと案の定シャワーから熱湯は出ないし水圧が小雨レベルだったので、海で必死に採取してきて凍えてるのに部屋帰ってもっと寒くなりました。悲しい。

淡水エリア。とても綺麗だが水辺なだけあって虫が多い。
マングローブエリア。今年頭のプロジェクトウィークで死ぬほどマングローブを見てきたもんだからもう流石に驚かなかった。
もはやちょっと見飽きつつある。贅沢な悩み。
お願いだから聞きたい。誰だここ「道」認定した奴は。
ジブリか？？？岩の間通って異世界でも行くんか？？？？
ド深夜の海に生徒を歩かせるなんて日本じゃ絶対できない特別な体験だろうけど、採取中は寒かったことしか大して覚えてない。

Just came back from a remote island in Malaysia back to humanity and Wifi and hot water showers.
Yas I love this :DDDD
We, the IB Biology students both SL and HL, were on Tioman island for 4 days, to do some research for our IAs- internal assessments.
It's basically like a report. You just study something and write a research paper about it.
We could have probably done it on any other destination and I'm sure Malaysia, if not Singapore, was enough for this but our school's too fancy so we have to go to Tioman.
Also, Tioman island is a great place filled with biological wonders.
It is a famous tourist-y island, but that's only a part of it.
If you walk a little far and go to the back of the island, far from the ferry ports, there are so many habitats and ecosystems left in their natural state.
Because of its location, it has everything to a thick primary rainforest to the mangroves, freshwater streams and a huge oceanic area including the intertidal zones.
Those 4 were the options of places we could do our research on, and we students created a research question ourselves.
I was quite intrigued by the intertidal zone, so went researched about corals there.
If there's anything I didn't realise and somewhat regret, it's that the intertidal zone research wholely relies on the tide and the low tide in Tioman was from 11 pm to 4 am.
Yes, I trecked to the jungle, climbed up and down a rainforest, walked through a freshwater stream, then stayed up till 4 am looking for corals in an extremely cold seawater environment, too dark to see anything but where the headlamp was pointing.
It was a cool and unique experience that we had the chance to do our own research in such a special environment, but honestly extremely tiring.
I'd like to go to Tioman for a proper holiday sometime in my future… The 2 times I've been were both UWC trips (loads of walking and swimming and genuine physical activity)!
