冬支度、開始
おはようございます。
１桁気温が増えてきたトロントよりお送りします、ケイトです。
段々冷たくなってきたし、いい加減冬用のコートを買いに出かけました。
こっちで冬用のコートを買う条件、それは二つ。
防水、防風の機能があること。
そして「−３０度対応」と書かれていること…！！

トロントの冬は毎年余裕でマイナスだし、そもそも私は寒い気候に慣れてないので、ちゃんと全力で探して参りました。
冬学期の授業が割と夜遅くまである予定なので、絶対寒い中歩く羽目になること確定。凍死は避けたいところです。
ちゃんと事前にネットで有名どころや口コミがいいものをめちゃくちゃ調べて、色んな先輩にもオススメのブランドを聞いてリサーチ致しました。
ちなみに大体のお店が割とわかりやすく機能性を売っているので、「防風」「防水」「−３０度」の文字を見て探せば結構簡単に候補が出てきますね。そこからは主にデザイン性で選びました。
やっぱり今後どれくらい長いこと使うことになるか分からないし、気に入るデザインは重要よね。
そして店頭に向かいました。試着に。
いやぁ、店頭で試着とかしてブラックフライデーのセール中にネットで買おうかな〜なんて企んでたんですけど…
私が気に入ったコートは毎年セールに入っていない品だと判明したのでそのまま買っちゃいました。
重い買い物だった（物理的に）。ちゃんとした冬用のコートって結構重いのね。
ちなみに冬用の靴はしっくりくるのが見つけられず、いろいろ試し履きしてメモして帰ってきました。
雪が降り始めるまでにまた探しに行きたい！！

This week has gotten very clearly colder, with today’s temperature being around 5 degrees.
I finally picked myself up and went to buy some proper winter coats!
So I did conduct some full-on research on which coat to buy from where- including, asking for brand suggestions from friends who have been in Toronto for longer than me.
And I managed to pick up a cute coat at a very decent price, if anything, on the cheap end :DDDD
For research, the internet had told me to look for the labels “waterproof” “windproof” and “-30” on the coat, so it was fairly easy to look for options.
Just key in those terms in, and after that, I chose according to my likes on how they looked!
Apparently those are the most important factors when it comes to choosing a winter coat in Toronto, because I saw those words
literally everywhere, on all websites, and even on the coats itself.
All brands sell it super clearly so it was very easy to determine if the coat was a good fit or not.

下のは冷蔵庫のパッキンが壊れていたせいで結露が固まり氷が出来た上に、ちょっと溶けたのか全部手に落ちてきた時の写真です。
痛かったし掃除大変だった…
