大学どうするかねぇ
どーもー！
おはようござます、けいとと申しますん。
先週は風邪をひいてしょんぼりしてたのですが、その日のうちに病院に行って抗生物質を処方されたため早めに治りました。
すでに元気。
病院ってすごいよね。プロに任せとけ感あるよね。
昨日（土曜日）にUWCSEAのEastキャンパス、私が通ってる方、で大学フェスがありました。
いろんな国の大学の代表者が来て体育館にブースを作って、そこに私たちが話を聞きに行ける感じです。
なんか部活の新歓みたいな？知らんけど。行ったことないけど。
主にアメリカの大学が多かった気がします。日本からはテンプルと立命館大学が来てました。
将来ってどうなってるんだろうなぁ。私は果たしてどこの大学で何をするんだろうか。
早く決めた方がいいんだろうなぁ（他人事）
そうそう、そのフェア中に２回に分けて色々話を聞けるセッションがあったんです。
カナダで勉強するには、とか、インターンをしたいなら、やら種類は午前と午後で１０種ずつ。
私は行かなかったのですが、サマースクールのすすめ的なブースもあったみたいで！
後から友達に合流した時に内容を聞いてみました。
そしたらなんと、私が今年の夏に行った大学のサマーキャンプが「おすすめ一覧」みたいなのに載ってました。
おぉ。。あそこはやはりいいところだったのか。。。（）
でもよく考えたらね、去年のフェスに行ってたら、母親と必死にグーグルで探さなくても済んだってゆーことなのかしら。
行けばよかったか。。。？
去年は日程が合わなくって行けなかったのですが、やっぱり行ってみるもんだね。面白い。
一つのスピーチで言われたのが、将来存在する職業なんてわからないということ。
化学が好きだからってそれだけじゃなく、ドラマもとって「スピーチがめっちゃ上手い研究者」になればいい、とか。
美術が得意な科学者さんが「サイエンスイラストレーター」として図鑑とかに乗る細胞やらの絵を描いている、とか。
今の時代、職業を作り出すのは一人一人の個人だよってことでした。
現代的ぃ。

Hello everyone, Kate here.
I had a really sore throat last week, so I went straight to the hospital and got given medicine.
Which then got better really fast.
Honestly, if anything happens, just ask the pros before it gets any worse…
Yesterday, there was a university fair at my school.
There were loads of representatives from unis all over the world, such as many American ones, British, Canadian, and there was 2 from Japan.
You got to ask questions, listen to their speech, and so on.
Also, there were 2 sessions, 1 out of 10 in the morning and 1 out of 10 in the afternoon, where the representatives will talk about something and we chose to listen to one.
Varieties were such as "Careers in the creative arts" "Going to education in the States".
I didn't go to this one, but apparently, there was a booth about summer school in the states and my friend went to that.
We met up later and I saw the list that was on recommended, to find out that the summer programme I went this year was on the list!
So it was a good programme then!! 😀
I didn't go to the fair last year, mostly because I wasn't too interested, but I maybe should have gone.
Because if I got information about summer programmes last year, I wouldn't have to go scavenging on the internet to find them…
