青春ぽくね？？？

おはようございます。

昨日朝8時半から昼2時まで踊りっぱなしで、急な負荷に耐えられず運動不足がたたったため足がパンパンです。

ケイトです。

 

そう、カルチュラマ大詰めで週末リハーサルがあったんです。

長くない？

実際にステージ立ってライトの位置調整とかも込みですけど。

２０人くらいのメンバーで何回も練習して、巻き戻して振り付け確認して、最初から流してみて。。。って！

なんか知り合いも増えたしどんどん振りも固まってきたと思います。

ダンスって楽しいねぇ！！！

でも8時始まりって平日学校が始まるのと同じ時間なのよ 週末なんだからもうちょっと遅くてよかったと思うワ

 

週末やら休み時間にリハーサルがちょくちょく入ってくるの、新鮮すぎて面白い。

どことなく部活っぽくない？

こんなまっすぐに同じことをひたすらにやるってことが私久しぶりすぎてもはや初めて。

日本の部活は1年ずっと毎週何回かやるのが普通だけど、こっちでは週１でターム（学期的なもの）ごとに変わっちゃうからね。

 

みんなで集まって汗かいてお昼食べて〜なんて青春っぽいことしちゃいましたよ。

お昼はマックのデリバリーして学校で受け取ったけどね！！＃インターあるある

 

ちなみに金曜日はUWCデーと言って、インターナショナルデー的なものがありました。

自分の国の衣装（チャイナドレスとかそーゆーの）を着て学校に来るんです。

1年ぶりに浴衣着たけど、やっぱり日本の浴衣は人気高いですね。

めちゃめちゃ「すごい」って言われました。

ふふふ（嬉しい）（そうだろ可愛いだろ）

ただキモノ〜！！って言われるんだ 違うんだ浴衣なんだ この点ははこれからも広げてゆくよこれは浴衣だ

 

いろんな面白い服装の人がいてワールドワイドさを改めて感じました。

ただインド人の割合が多すぎね。

Kate here.
There was a Culturama (dance) rehearsal yesterday, from 8 am to 2 pm.
Don't you think that's really long?
It's almost the same as a normal school day, just dancing throughout!
I swear it could have started later… It's a weekend…
I'm really enjoying practicing for Culturama, though.

Considering that I have no experience in dance, I think I'm doing alright.

It does take up a lot of time, but it's such a new thing for me and I find it amazingly fun!

We have about 20 people, and we rehearse so much.

Play it throughout, stop, replay to check choreography, and then play again…

It feels like we're really putting so much into it.

Culturama is in 2 weeks, so I need to get myself together!!
Friday was UWC day, which is like "international day" but just UWC.
We wear our culture's costumes, like a china dress and stuff.
I got out my yukata again~~!
… Here, I just need to make a statement that yukatas look like kimonos but they aren't. 
Yukatas are for summers and kimonos are heavier and more proper.
It's interesting to see the class so colourful with cultural clothing on.
It makes me really realise how unusual and international of an environment I'm in. 
There is an overwhelming population of Indians, though… XD
