Winter is still going strong in Toronto and I’m religiously taking vitamin supplements to scare the seasonal depression away from m house. How are you all doing?
I found out the hard way that it rained yesterday, because when I went out shopping today, I did not pay attention to the pavement and almost slipped on the frozen floors.
The wind was really cold on my face so I was trying to be quick, but I should have been more careful. I didn’t actually fall, but I could have and that would have taken a lot more time to recover than just walking slowly with caution.
So that’s my advice for the week.
It was our first week back to university this week, and I have made a very strong start to the winter term by accidentally sleeping in for 1 whole hour and being 20 minutes late to the first lecture of the term.
Luckily the first lectures are usually just going over the syllabus, so I didn’t miss out on too much, but I don’t think I made a very good impression on the professor.
My excuse is that the lecture that day was fairly early in the morning, and the lecture the night before went on till pretty late, and couldn’t get to bed at my usual hours.
I’ll have to work something out about that schedule and probably change one of those lectures, because I don’t want to be late to a lecture nor do I want to even feel stressed and worried about it.
But I don’t know, it could be because this week was the first week back and my body wasn’t as used to the routine?
I’ll probably stick to it for now and see how it turns out for this month. 🙂
