ブログの読者様に会うことほど緊張することはない
どうも〜〜〜ケイトです。
先日の金曜日の夜、「シンガポール和僑会・秋の大交流会」に参加してきました！
久しぶりの和僑会、さすがにちょっと緊張したね。😏
軽く補足を入れておくと、和僑会にはシンガポールの日本人実業家や企業のリーダーを目指す人、
交換留学の大学生等々、面白い人がたくさん集まる場です。
年に1回くらいのペースで顔出してます。
私はしれ〜〜〜〜っとペコペコしあってた大学生軍団に混ざって仲良くしてました。
顔の老けっぷりか、大して何も触れられずみんなの中に入ってました。ぐへへ。
なんなら同い年？みたいなノリが多い。
私ももう高２だしそれはいいとして、社会人の方ですか？と聞かれた時はどうしようかと思った。
「いや、大学生じゃなさそうだったからそっちかなって！」って言われたんだけど、いやいや逆です。下です。
気のせいか、今年は女性陣の人数が増えていたような気がします。
あと全体的に大学生などの「ユース会員」の数が多く感じました。
年齢の近い話し相手が増えて楽しかったでござる。
交換留学生は皆とんでもなく頭がいい人たちばかりなので、学校を聞くたびにビビりちらかしてました。
大学受験とかの話をちょっと聞いたりも出来て、改めて考えさせられたり。
あとIBの先輩も！最終点数へのIAの重要性をものすごく熱く語られました😂
めちゃくちゃ大事だから！！！！！って。ありがとう人生の先輩、ちゃんと頑張ります。
久しぶりに会った年上のおじさまズのお話を聞かせていただいたりと楽しい会でした。
熱血的な人が多いですねぇ。声大きい人ほんと多いですねぇ。父親の声が響き渡ってましたねぇ😂
ちょっと難しい話されて凄い戸惑ったのは秘密。

My "shift" key on the keyboard is not responding, and I'm really struggling to type anything right.
All apostrophes and capital letters are on "shift"……!
Last Friday, I went to join the Singapore Wakyokai's autumn party.
It's been about a year since I went last time!
It's where a lot of entrepreneurs and on-exchange university students in Singapore.
Nice because I don't have a lot of Japanese friends here. 🙂
I got to meet a lot of university students and talked to a lot of people overall.
Some of the people I even knew from a couple of years ago!
I don't know why but just all of the people I met then thought I was much older than my actual age. I'm 17!!!!
All the university students are super clever and a little intimidating in those terms, but I got to talk a little about their university choices, and there was even one person who had taken IB!
He reeeaaaaaly emphasized the importance of IAs for the final grades.
Great, I'll just go away and do that…!!
Yeah, I'm being chased around by my chem and bio IA right now, I guess I'm going to have to face it.
