試験会場って場所によって全然雰囲気違う
おはようございます。
最近風が冷たく指先がものすごく冷えてしまうので、まだ10月なのに手袋の導入を悩んでいます。

やっぱ今年去年より寒いって〜！！！
木も寒そうじゃん！
今週はトロント大学に入学して3年目にして初めてエグザムセンター、所謂「試験会場」で中間試験を受けました。
や〜〜緊張した〜〜！
対面試験だけなら去年も受けたんですけど、人数の都合かなんかで別の小さなホールで受けたんですよね。
「試験会場」って名前の会場で試験を受けたのは今回が初めてでした。
ちなみに、まず建物に入ってからお手洗いが見当たらなくてウロウロ迷いましたね。早速テスト前につまづいたわ。
そこら辺の人に「トイレってどこかな…」って聞いたところ３階だよと言われ階段を駆け上がることになったので、次行くときは時間の余裕を今回以上に持って行こうと思います。別に全然間に合ったけど、心が焦っちゃうからね。
どうしよう、これで調べたら１階にもお手洗いあったら恥ずかしいな。
今回私が使った試験会場はビルの中でも地下にあるホールでした。
全部で何個ホールがあるのか詳しくは知らないんだけど、結構あるっぽい。
地下のホールはなんかめちゃめちゃがらんどうで、コンクリート打ちっぱなしみたいな内装でした。
なんというか、ブルータリズム建築というか…ただでさえ地下なのに光源が少なくて薄暗いというか…
私の高校のUWCの試験会場も地下だったけど、もっと蛍光灯でペカペカに明るくて、白い壁に青いカーペットみたいな可愛い内装だったよ。ダンスフェスのリハーサルとかでたまに使ったけど、広くて明るくて使いやすい、いいホールだったよ。
なんであんな試験とか関係なく魂が吸い取られそうな感じの試験会場なんでしょうかね。
というか微妙に薄暗いせいで過眠症発症したらどうしようって心臓バクバクだったけど、今回はセーフでした。よかったよかった。
なんか今回は色々テスト以外の面で緊張したけど、もう行ったことあるから今度からは安心だね。
4年生になってからの絶対失敗できない試験で初めてホールに行くことにならなくてよかった。
今回も2年生の間に１回試験受けてたからこの大学での試験の勝手とか必要書類・筆記用具も知ってたし、ちゃんとマークシート試験用に鉛筆を用意できたので、やっぱり何事も経験が大事だと思います。

I’m considering pulling my gloves out of my closet because the cold winds have been really catching up this week, and it hurts my fingers so bad! It’s only October!
So this week, I went to the Exam Centre for an exam for the first time since I’ve been at the University of Toronto.
Yeah, in my third year. First time!
I’m glad I got to experience it before going into scary 4th-year exams, because it was quite a nerve-wracking experience.
At first, the entrance door to the building wasn’t exactly where I thought it would be so I had a petit panic moment before the test.
Then I couldn’t find the restroom, and when I asked the closest person to me, they told me it was on the third floor, so I had to run up the stairs. Also, run back down the stairs after that.
Plus, I have to say, although the exam centre building was pretty nice, the interior didn’t have the best aesthetics.
The hall I used was the basement hall, so there was of course no sunlight, and barely any light sources either, so it was pretty gloomy.
It had an “I’m not even sitting before my exam paper yet and already feeling gloomy”, kind of atmosphere.
At least I know what to expect next time!
Last time I didn’t have a pencil and only a mechanical pencil and that was an obstacle for doing those mark sheet answers, so I brought a pencil this time and worked out better. Learning from past mistakes!
