皆んなにとっての自宅待機＝私の週末
どうも〜おはようございます。
今日も遅起き。ケイトです。
IBの本試験がなくなることが決定した今、もはや高校も終わったような感じです。
なんか先生たちが最終成績つけて、それが大学に送られるそう。前代未聞の事態！
それで大学で入れてくれるなら私はなんでもいいよ、もう。とりあえず受からせてくれ。
寮生が段々家に帰るため世界各国へ飛んでいってるのですが、これはもうシンガポールに帰ってこれないだろうし。
学校終わりフラグがプンプン。
卒業式も最終試験もなかったら、そりゃ帰れるうちに帰っちゃうよなぁ…
オンライン授業なのか！？寝ちゃいそうで嫌なんだよなぁオンライン授業！
早く終息してくれ、コロナよ。
今シンガポールは娯楽等の理由での１０人以上の集まりは禁止されており、今週末に予定されていた誕生日パーティーもキャンセルされちゃいました。仕方ないとはいえ、寂しいな〜。
家の窓から見える道も、今日は一人も出歩いている人が見当たりません。
いつもはごった返しているのにね〜皆んな協力してるんですね。
家で大人しくしていることが一番の安全策であり対処法です。ふらふら出歩いても感染者が増えるだけですよ。
自宅待機が一番！みんな引きこもろうね！！！（２週間近く部屋を出ていない勢）（これからも出る予定はない）
てな訳で私は大量の宿題に背中を押されながらも休みを楽しんでいる訳なのですが。
自由もできたので。ニヤニヤ遊んでます。😏
今全世界が外出できずにいるから、ネットのゲーム生放送とか動画投稿とかのスパンが上がっててもはや見放題なんですよね〜〜！！（オタク）
昨日も３時間に渡るマインクラフト配信見てました。いやぁ楽しい。
マイクラは私が前の学校、マルボロカレッジに通い始める少し前からハマっていた、息の長〜〜いゲームです。
寮生活の時はよく隣の部屋の子と通信繋いで遊んでました。うーん懐かしい。
にしても３年程起動すらしていなかったし、見るのも久しぶりすぎて、新しいアップデートに全くついていけてなかったですわ。
知らんアイテムだらけでこれぞ浦島太郎状態。
こりゃ〜〜自分で遊んで探検するしかねぇなあ！！！！（わくわくわくわく）
というか学校の皆んなが「自宅待機が暇すぎる」やら「誰にも会ってないのが寂しい」やら言うてる中、一人を謳歌している私はなんなんですかね？？？普通の休みと変わらんのですけど？？？？？インドア派が世界を守る。

The boarding house at UWC had a mini-graduation-party this week, as a lot of the students fly back to their home countries whilst they can.
I mean, with final IB exams and graduation cancelled, it’s not surprising that they’d rather go home.
Which kinda means they probably won’t come back next term.
Are we actually having online lessons then???
As for the final IB grades, apparently our teachers just decide on them and get sent out to universities, as the IBO would normally. Honestly, I am okay as long as I get into my university.
Singapore’s completely in “against-corona mode” as I call it.
Gatherings larger than 10 have all been cancelled, leisures such as cinemas and arcades are all closed. Roads have bearly anyone walking, and everyone is on self-quarantine.
I’d say staying at home and social distancing is the safest approach to corona. But try to have fun at home!
Well, with all the lockdowns and everything, I’ve personally been staying home all holiday- like 2 weeks- now.
With a lot of homework to do, yes, but unlike the past 2 years, with less pressure of IB!
Because so many countries are on lockdown and everyone’s rolling around at home, there have been so many YouTube videos and all that jazz being posted recently. Meaning I have so much to enjoy.
Yesterday I was watching a 3-hour long Minecraft live stream. Yeah, I know.
Minecraft is a game I used to reeeaaaally get invested in, back in year 6 (grade 5), just about before moving into Marlborough College.
As a boarder, I would often connect with my friend from the next corridor to play online during our free time.
I hadn’t even opened up the game in 3 years or so, and I figured yesterday that so much had changed, which means I need to go figure it out myself now :DDDDDDDD
It’s funny how all my friends are like “OMG self-quarantine is so boring” “I miss seeing people” “I have nothing to do:((” and I’m just having a normal holiday. Introverts save the world.
But as long as I enjoy this, I miss my bubble tea.
