Even though I do turn 16, there aren't any big changes in my life… Why is it sweet?
I know in many mangas, the protagonist (female heroine) is often 16 or around that age.
So is it my year of romance??
… I shouldn't expect anything.
This week, our class got the bio test we did before break returned back.
Okay, I'm going to say this clearly: LET ME BRAG.
I got 97%.
It's the best score I've gotten this year, though I always feel like getting 97%s on tests are so much annoying than 93%, because it's the smaller mistakes that could have been prevented.
Ooh, and I know why I did so well this time.
See, our test this time included questions that required the flexibility of the mind.
It had a drawing of a practical apparatus, which we haven't used in class but similar to what we had done, and there were questions based on that equipment.
Honestly, it was solvable. We had done something similar, and if everyone kept calm it was entirely okay.
But from what I heard, many people had panicked when they saw the question and quickly gave up on that.
I was okay because I had done a question based on the apparatus during IGCSE a year ago at MCM.
The point of this is that, if I want better results, doing more than what I just do in school is key.
If everyone in the class all does the same things in school, and you don't do anymore, there is absolutely no chance to get better scores than the others.
If you do practice questions and extensions, there is a higher chance that you are used to those tricky questions and might be able to tackle it carefully.
Maybe that's what I really should do for exam study.
