期末ラッシュスタート！
おはようございます。
真の敵は気温じゃなくて強風。
どうもケイトです。
耳が千切れるっての！！！！
金属のアクセサリーなんてした日には本当に冷たくて痛くなっちゃうので、お勧めできません。
それにしても、あっという間に１２月ですね。
気温がガッツリ下がった今、雨と呼ぶは大粒で、雪と呼ぶには濡れすぎている、そんな天気が増えています。
べた雪っていうんでしょうか？
もうブーツ無しじゃ冷たくて冷たくて、歩けないです。
前々から何度も言っていますが、トロントは風が強すぎるため、雨天で傘を刺すと自分も傘も吹き飛ばされそうになるのですが、ただ逆（というかなんというか）に雪の日は傘を使いがちなんですよね。
今くらいの軽い雪の季節こそ、一番道端で傘を見かけると思います。
私の傘も、雨傘というよりかは雪傘と呼んだ方が相応しい気がしてくる程の使用頻度です。
相変わらず中学時代からずっと同じ折りたたみ傘を愛用しているので、今年の冬もどうか持ってほしいですね。
学業においては、一旦一つ目の期末試験が終わりました！！！
まだあと３教科待ち構えているので、全然長い道のりですが、それでも一応一つ終わってスッキリ。
この一つ目の試験が本当にネックでして、期末試験期間中ではなく最後の講義の日に行われたんです。
ですがこの最後の週というのは他の全教科の追い込み時期と被っていまして、全教科の課題の最終提出日がこの週に集中していました。
だからもっとテスト勉強に時間を使いたいのに、この課題もやらなきゃ！あの課題もやらなきゃ！で本当に心も頭も大変でしたね。
一番の多忙期だったかもしれません。
睡眠時間を削った反動で今日も１２時間近く寝ていました。睡眠を削ると一瞬で反動がくるタイプです。
この後の期末試験３つは他に課題が無いのと、全部試験ごとに数日間の間があるため、１教科ずつ集中して取り組めそうです。
ありがたいね！
今週末は一息付きに、外食でもしようかな。
あとは自己採点してヤバそうな教科をどうにかすることだな……。

Hello everyone, Kate here.
The real enemy is not the cold temperature but the strong winds.
Gosh, I thought my ears would freeze and fall off!
The city is looking more like Christmas, and the weather has also been transitioning to December, with snow that’s a little too melted to call snow, but too solid to call rain.
Is it called sticky snow?
But it’s already too cold to walk without boots.
About academics- the first final exam of this term is over!
I do still have three more exams waiting, so there’s a long way to go, but it still feels like something off my shoulders to have one over with.
This first exam was a real struggle.
This one was held on the last day of lectures, not during the final exam period.
But this final week is where all the final submissions for all assignments, for all subjects, concentrate on.
So I wanted to spend more time studying for the exam, but I had so many assignments to finish at the same time, and it was very hard on my mind and heart.
For the rest of the exams, I’ll be able to concentrate on one subject at a time, because I don’t have any other assignments for the final period.
Plus, they all have a few days in between each exam.
Thank goodness!
