正直今回もいけると思ってた

なんかほんとずっと梅雨みたいな天気ですね。
海行く予定立ててたのに雷雨で流れちゃいました。
雨の日の外出は不便だけど、晴れの日も最近は暑すぎるからどっちも苦手だな…。
先日はやっっっっっとになりますが、コロナワクチン３回目の接種を受けてきました。
なんやかんやあって前回の２回目の接種から１年近く経っちゃったんですけど。
まぁその間に一回コロナかかったし、実質４回目のだったりして。
ちなみに私はモデルナを打ったのですが、みんな３回目からモデルナの接種量が１回目・２回目の半分になるって知ってました？
私は接種前のお医者さんからの説明で初めて知りました。前回の接種がいつだろうと半分という規定らしい。
個人的びっくりポイントとしては、半分しか打ってないのに今までで一番副反応が重かったことですね。
前回打った時は超軽かったんですよ。
１回目・２回目はなんとなく接種部付近が痛い程度で、熱もなければだるさもなく、翌日もピンピンしてたんです。
なんなら打った後にスタバに寄ってるんるんだったくらい余裕でした。
だから今回も楽勝だろうな〜〜って超舐めてかかってたんです。
なのに打って１時間後くらいにはもう腕が熱を持ちだして、そのまま２日以上も首から肘にかけて広範囲での痛みが続いちゃって！
なんか全体的に体も熱っぽくだるさがあり、寝苦しくて一睡も出来ずに夜中ベッドでゴロゴロ過ごしました。
果たしてそれが一度コロナに罹った後だからなのか、接種が生理と被ったからなのか、はたまた接種の３分前に自転車を止めながら蚊に喰われて既に軽く炎症反応を起こしていたからなのか、原因は不明です。
でもワクチンを刺す予定だった左上腕を接種直前に蚊に喰われて、びっくりするくらい赤く腫れてたから、15分の経過観察の見回りをしていた方を超驚かしてしまったことだけは事実です。大丈夫です、とんでもない副反応起こした訳じゃ無いです。ほんとややこしいことしてすいません。

I finally did my 3rd shot of the covid vaccine!
It took so much time, I know, like it took me like a whole year after my 2nd dose to get to my 3rd.
For multiple reasons… including I couldn’t be bothered to figure out how to get a shot in Toronto…
But it’s okay. I got the task done in the end.
Oh, did you know for the 3rd shot of Moderna, you only receive half a dose?
I only found out when the doctor was doing the final explanations to me.
Apparently it applies to everyone so it doesn’t matter when you last took the shot.
The most unexpected part of the process is that I had the worst side effects compared to the previous 2 doses.
Completely underestimated this, because firstly my previous 2 shots had barely any side effects. My upper arm was a little sore for a day or two and that was it. And secondly, because it’s only half of that!
But to my surprise, my whole arm up to my neck started to feel tense within 1 or 2 hours after getting the shot, and it stayed sore like that for 2 whole days at least.
I also felt dull and feverish for a day and struggled to get to sleep.
Maybe because I caught covid before and my body was sensitive or something?
I don’t know why but it was definitely the worst out of the 3 shots.
At least I’m done with it for now!
Now I have to apply for the vaccine certificate or something.
