歯医者に強靭な腕力が必要だとは
おはようございます。
下顎の感覚が半分ないケイトです。
いやぁ、結局昨日抜くことになってですね。左上を一本、左下を一本。
結論から言うと抜歯って想像の5倍は力技でしたわ。
わりかしちゃんと力技で引っこ抜いてましたわ。
ペンチでうんとこしょ〜どっこいしょ〜〜されましたわ。
ちなみにこれから先親知らずを抜くことになった人達のために伝えたいのですが、口内にしか麻酔は刺されてないので、ふつゥ〜〜〜に物凄い音と振動がダイレクトに伝わってきてめっちゃ怖いです。照明から目を守るために目にタオルがかかってるので何も見えず、変に恐怖心をそそられました。
こういう麻酔って、歯茎とかを切られたのは全然分からないけど（感覚の神経は麻痺してる）、押されてるとかは分かるんですよね（動きの神経は生きてる）。
でも暴れたところで麻酔のない場所にメスが刺さりでもしたら号泣物なので、大人しく手を組んで天に祈りを捧げる（腹痛の時にだけやってくるトイレの神様とテスト前にやってくる黒板らへんの神様に似た存在）ことをオススメします。
なんか私の担当だったお医者さんがやけに冷静な人で、なんでもかる〜く言うんですよね。
「ちょっと振動行きます」とか言ってドリルみたいなゴツい「ぶぃいいいいいいい」音なってました。

今の絶対歯削ってる音だよね？？？
「ちょっとパキッって言います」

今の絶体さっき削った歯のパーツを本体から折って引っこ抜いた音だよ（正直何もわからないので想像だけが進んでいく）
「もう一回振動しますね」
このドリル、振動どころか顎の内側から顔面全体を揺さぶられてる気になります。
「あごぐーーって力入れますね」めっちゃ下顎抑えられてる。押されてる。
これめちゃめちゃ歯引っこ抜いてるじゃん…（想像とは言えそれしか考えつかない）
総括として言いますと２本抜いて一番気になった事は「ピンセットが細くて唇に刺さってて痛い」です。
あと一番痛かったのは麻酔の注射です。
注射針が刺さるのは大丈夫なんですけど、神経に沿って潰されるような痛みがぐーーーっとくるのが不快でしたね…
なんか痛みを感じると言えば麻酔増やしてくれるんですけど、でも途中で追加される麻酔がさっきより痛いとかいうパラドクス。
ちなみに抜いた歯は貰えました。歯の根っこって定期的にTwitterとかで見る変な大根みたいな見た目してませんん？？？
もう「セクシー大根みたいだな」としか思えませんでした。
（セクシー大根で検索したら可愛い抱き枕がヒットしたしめっちゃ歯に似てるんで写真貼ります）

So I did actually get my wisdom teeth removed yesterday!
Both my left upper one and lower one.
… And now my left jaw doesn’t move properly at all. Wow.
The whole procedure, including taking the CT scan, took about an hour and a half.
I already had an x-ray taken a while ago, but because x-rays are only 2 dimensional, taking a 3D scan is important.
Especially because wisdom teeth are super close to another important nerve in the body, you have to check the placement of those two before getting started.
Mine was quite close to each other, but it wasn’t touching, thankfully.
The x-ray looked almost overlapping, but the CT revealed it only looked close from the front and that my teeth were in front of the nerve. Thanks, technology.
I must say staying awake and alert during such big surgery is quite frightening.
To protect the patient’s eyes from the strong lighting above, I got a towel placed on top of my eyes, which meant I really had no clue what was going on in my mouth and that got me anxious.
Also, the anaesthesia they put you under is only for numbing the sensory receptors for the surrounding muscles and nerve, so you still can move your mouth- hence, you don’t feel any pain of cutting through muscles, but can still tell that something is pushing or pulling against your teeth.
Plus, well obviously, it’s quite loud with the drilling and stuff.
WHICH ALL OF THIS IS QUITE SCARY TOO.
For anyone else that’s planning to undergo wisdom teeth removal procedures, I should warn you that because your nerves are numb and open wounds are painful, you really can’t close your mouth properly shut for the first few hours.
So you drool like crazy.
We are in a middle of a pandemic so putting a piece of tissue between you and your mask would be helpful with the uncontrollable drooling.
On another note, my tongue got some of the anaesthesia, which meant I couldn’t tell if the stuff in my mouth was blood or saliva so I kept s kept spitting everything out; which resulted in me looking like I had some sort of serious internal injury or just got poisoned. Kinda gross.

手術後麻酔と痛みでちゃんと口が閉められないと、よだれが止まらないんですよね。口とマスクの間にティッシュ挟んでました。
しかも出血してるから一生吐血してるみたいでグロいです。
でも右側の親知らずはまだなので、抜歯は続く………
