１年越しの初めまして
おはようございます。
そろそろスーツケースに荷物を詰め始めているケイトです。
超大変。
私は基本的にちょっと遊ぶ時や短期間の旅行でも荷物が多い人間なので、あれもいる〜これもいる〜で入れたいものがどんどん増えていきます。複数人で遊ぶと一番カバンが大きいやつです。
洗濯の頻度も下がっちゃうだろうから服いっぱい持ってきたいけど…あとはいつも使ってるお気に入りの化粧品とそのスペアとか…
これ全部入るんか？
話は変わりますが、そろそろトロントに行くということで、同じく向こうに行く人達との交流を図っています。
せっかくだから仲良くなれそうな人と街並み探索とか行きたいし！
通えそうなお店とか、美味しいご飯屋さんの場所を知ってるのは大切だよね。
みんな去年一年間リモートだったから、特に連絡取り合ってなかったみたいで、今になって交流が活発になってきました。
インスタグラムに非公式の２０２４年卒業予定（２０２０年入学）生徒用アカウントみたいなのがあって、８０００人近くという結構なフォロワー数がいるんですよね。
そこに連絡すると「自分の写真＋自己紹介文章」を投稿してくれるみたいで、最近私のタイムラインはその投稿ばっかりです。
私も連絡してみようかしら…。
あとは去年の今頃発足した、同じく２０２４年卒業予定小規模日本人グループチャットみたいなのもインスタグラムにあるんですよね。それが急に動き出しました。
便乗してそこに話しかけてみたら同じ便、同じ乗り換えでトロントに行く子がいたので、空港で会うのが楽しみです。
乗り換えってやっぱり不安だから、誰かと一緒に行けるの嬉し〜のよ。
知らない空港の乗り換えってソワソワしない？迷ったら終わりじゃん！！
それで言ったら高校の同級生にもやっっっと再会できそうで超楽しみ〜〜〜✌︎(‘ω’✌︎ )！！！

So it’s almost time to fly to Toronto for everyone, and we’re all hurriedly trying to make friends now.
Because we all collectively gave up on that task last year.
Who didn’t?
Also, I definitely want some friends to explore the UofT neighbourhood around with.
Got to find some good restaurants and cafes for the upcoming year!
So many group chats have started to move all of a sudden.
There’s even an unofficial Instagram account for the class of 2024, where people send in their photos and a description of themselves so the account will post it for their 8000 followers, so people get to know you.
My whole Instagram feed is full of those posts right now!
I mean, the updated Instagram feed is super hard to look through with the messed up orders of posts and stuff, so it’s just a whole list of the class of ’24 account and NONE of my friends’ posts. Help me.
I’ve also been talking to a couple of people in a small Japanese-only, class of ’24 group chat.
Someone was taking the exact same flight as me from Tokyo to Toronto, so it would be really interesting to meet up with them.
