FIB TIOMAN EXPEDITION

一週間ぶりに電子機器類に触れたら違和感しかありません。
キーボードが打ちづらくて打ちづらくて仕方がないよぅ。
えーっと。。。
いやはや、ベッド気持ちいなぁ！！！！！！！（謎）
ただいまです。
昨日の夕方帰ってきました。
いやーーーー、忙しい週だった。
結局月曜日の朝５時半に集合して６時に出発、ティオマン島の部屋に着いたのは３時過ぎでした。
いや移動時間長すぎでしょ。
ティオマンってこんなとこ。
👍みたいな形してる。
火曜日は海でカヤックの練習（波で酔う）してシュノーケルして、水曜日は７時間程度のトレッキング（足の裏が剥ける・くるぶしを石に強打して怪我をする）、夜は豪雨の中テントで野宿キャンプ（びっっっちょびちょになった）、木曜日は宿泊先までカヤックで海を渡り（またしても酔ったし日焼けヤバイしオール持つ手が痛くなる）、金曜日はウミガメの生存率やらについて勉強して（可愛い）、土曜はまたずっと移動。
みたいなスケジュールでした。大まかだなぁ。てかこれだけみると悲惨だなぁ。
でもいろいろひっくるめて、一番楽しかったのはクラスメイトとご飯を食べてる時だったかもと思うのサ。
クラス全員で２４人しかいないし、普段どの授業行っても一緒だし、ついでに今週に至っては一週間ずーーっと共に過ごしてたからかな、２３人ルームメイトがいるような感覚です。
夜ご飯食べる時のテーブルも男女の垣根もなく、友達グループなんてどこに飛んでっちゃったのかってくらいごちゃ混ぜに座って。
くだらない馬鹿話しながらみんなで遊んだトランプは格別に楽しかったですね。
１ヶ月前に会ったばかりとも思えぬ近さ。
この一週間が本当に大変だったし辛かったことは事実だけど、いい思い出ですのぅ。
数ヶ月後、数年後数十年後に再開して「大変だったね〜」なんて笑えたら楽しそうだ。
いや、もう一度キャンプに行きたいとは一切思わないけどね？

I literally just came back home yesterday around 4pm.
Jeeeez, it was a busy week for sure!!
We woke up every morning at 7, straightaway had morning stretches in on the beach, and were out for the whole day and slept at 10.
Here’s a brief summary about all the things we did.
We gathered at 5:30AM on Monday, left at 6, and arrived to our staying rooms in Tioman at 3PM ish. It was a long trip consisting a bus, a ferry and a 4×4 truck.
The bungalow site we stayed was right in front of the sea with the jungle and mangrove river behind us.
Tuesday was practically the first ‘proper’ day into the expedition.
We spent the whole day out in the waters, practicing kayaking in the mangrove river and sea kayaking out far.
It’s really hard, sea kayaking- especially when the tide’s against you. It just pushes you back!!
On Wednesday, we had a 7 hours? treck into the mountains.
The path was super steep and for GODS SAKE it was hard!!!!
We stayed in a campsite for the night, and got super rained on.
Thursday was snorkelling and kayaking back on sea back to the bungalows we stayed in.
I think the most fun, entertaining part of the expedition was eating breakfast, lunch and dinner together with all 23 other classmates.
Because FIB is an weird system, we are together all the time. Plus, we were together for the whole week!
So, we have no barriers between 'friend groups' or gender, and it was great fun to gather all around one table and eat together.
It was a great memory.. well, I don't want to do it again, but I don't regret going!
