受験って大変だね（他人事）
可愛いイヤリングを購入してご機嫌です。
どうも、ケイトです。
最近思ったこと。
日本と海外じゃ、休みの使い方が全然違う。
私の経験上、インターナショナル校の夏休みは一学年度の終わりであり、あまり宿題のようなものが出ません。
「休みは休め」方針なんですよ多分。
この学年になってくると流石にエッセーを終わらせるやプレゼンを作っておく等、次の年のために準備がありますが、下の学年は本当に何もないです。というか私はまったく何かやっていた記憶がないです。
そして打って変わって日本！
学年が変わる海外の夏休みと日本の夏休み時を比べるのは少し違うかな？と思ったんですけど、春休みと比べるのもどうかと思って。。。（どっちだよ）
てな訳で普通に休み全般の印象で書きます☆
そう、で何が言いたいかと言いますと。
「夏休み日本で遊ばない？」
と周りの日本に住んでいる友達に聞いたところ、同じ中３のみんなは全員声をそろえて言うのです。
「ごめん、塾とかで忙しい」
いやだって受験まだじゃん！！！！
同じ中３だけど、受験ってそもそも1月とかじゃなかったでしたっけ？
塾やら夏期講習やら部活やらでみんな予定ぎゅーぎゅーらしいですね。
来年は遊べるかな？高１の友達とは会う予定たくさんあるんで多分遊べますよね。
中３の夏休みが頑張り時ってことですか！
ってまったく休んでないな。。。。
わーみんな大変（ハナホジ）
受験は大変だということはよくわかるんです！でも！
うわぁ。。ってなりますね。
。。よし、スイーツバイキング行くか。

I bought myself some cute earrings and I'm pleased with myself 🙂
Something I thought over this week. What we do during holidays in Japan and in International schools is different.
As in, I asked my friends if we could meet up for a day or something and many of them said to me at once;
‘I’m too busy studying for entrance exams’.
WHY!?
Entrance exams happen during January, but already everyone is too busy studying for everything.
In international schools, we don’t have much like ‘summer holiday homework’.
Well, at least until we reach IGCSEs.
Of course if we get to IGCSEs and stuff, we have essays to complete and presentations to sort out, but until that no.
In Japan, everyone is studying.
For entrance exams, for tests after the holidays.. etcetera, etcetera, and whatever else they have.
I have never had the experience to go through Japanese exams, but I guess they are hard.

Oh and I went to a Japanese festival!
I love the feel of festivals in Japan! XD
