Wifi at home has been broken for a few days now.
\nThis is much more inconvenient than I thought!
\nI rarely use my phone outside the house, except to and from the university, and I don’t use it much on the train either because the signal is not good underground here.
\nSo I set my monthly data allowance really low.
\nThanks to this, I am living my life on the edge. Gosh, I\u2019m addicted to my phone.
\n<\/span>I also have to go all the way to the library just to do my assignments, so I spend a lot of time in the library, which is a hassle on it\u2019s own.
\n<\/span>Trying to convince myself that it\u2019s better than it happening in the middle of the online exams in April, but I still want to do my assignments at home with a cup of hot tea.<\/p>\n

Daylight saving time, or summer time, started last Sunday.
\nIt\u2019s a system to change the time according to the long daylight hours of summer.
\nSpecifically, the time difference with Japan has moved forward one hour, from 14 hours to 13 hours.
\nSince it is summer time, the weather has been warmer for the past few days.
\nHowever, I grew up in Singapore, so I am still wearing a thick winter coat, but I can see that the people who grew up in Canada have already started to get ready for spring.
\nAnd shocker: an ice cream truck had appeared early.
\n<\/span>It’s a strange sight, because next to me walking around with my coat, there’s another person walking around eating ice cream.
\n<\/span>They say it’s easy to tell the difference between who grew up in Toronto and who didn\u2019t, but this is a bit too obvious.
\n<\/span>I recall last year as well, I was wearing a thick coat until mid-April, and everyone around me was already in spring clothes. Probably happening again this year.<\/span><\/p>\n
