All of a sudden Toronto has gone down to below 10 degrees Celsius this whole week.<\/div>\n
First time this winter!<\/div>\n
Thankfully there isn’t a lot of snow so it isn’t too hard to walk, but the cold winds are really getting to me.<\/div>\n

The second week of university is over (already) and I’m getting a general feel for the classes.
\nPersonal opinion, but I feel that these first two weeks are the time to learn the patterns, and get used to them.
\n<\/span>Such as this lecture you have to be well prepared to follow the content, this class starts at exactly 10 minutes past and seats fill up quickly so you have to arrive early, and so on. Also, from the second week, tutorial classes\u00a0start, so I have to get used to the small groups.
\nOnce you get into the third week, nothing brand new really happens, so I think the first two weeks are light in terms of workload, but busy emotionally.<\/p>\n

On another note, about the club event I was talking about last week.
\nEnded well!
\nThere still was a bit of a mess on the day, and of course, there are a lot of minor things to reflect on.
\nBut at least for me, the only feedback I received was that it was fun, so it was a success in my opinion.
\nSmall interactions, such as people smiling and posing at me when I point the\u00a0camera at them, or watching them them turn\u00a0around to\u00a0ask\u00a0the person sitting next to them to take a picture together, really feel like they’re having a good time.
\n<\/span>I also feel happy and rewarded when people say to me that they had a good time, or that they are glad they took part in the event, and even more, that they will come again.
\nSometimes people would send me messages directly to say it was fun. It’s great.
\nAlso, as our events usually end around dinner time, so I often see the participants going out for dinner afterwards with other participants they got on well with that day. And\u00a0this time I saw a lot of that again!
\nWhich reassured me that they were not just being polite and saying nice things, but that they actually got on well and had some fun.
\nThings like this really motivate me! Hopefully, our next event will be just as, and even more exciting than this.<\/span><\/p>\n
