It suddenly warmed up this week and the maximum temperature, which had been roughly around 10 degrees Celsius for a while, went all the way up to\u00a0 20 degrees Celsius.
\nMy body must not have been able to cope with the sudden change in temperature, because the classroom where I usually have lectures felt extremely hot and it was really difficult to concentrate.<\/p>\n

To be more specific, on Thursday of this week, I had sat down in class and for more than 30 minutes I was constantly sweating without moving out of my seat all all.
\nMy face felt hot and lightheaded, similar to when I got a heatstroke last time.
\n<\/span>I could barely think straight, let alone concentrate on the lecture’s content,\u00a0and I was desperately gulping down water as I tried my best to take notes. I thought I had gone nuts!<\/p>\n

Which, I found out the next day,\u00a0it was the heating system in that classroom that had gone out of control.
\nIt was the heating system that couldn’t cope with the change in temperature.
\nThe professor on Friday (who was also, sweating) told us that we could go home before we got sick, and I was relieved to know that it wasn’t my body going bonkers.<\/p>\n

I was still really feeling battered, and I was listening to the lecture while desperately trying to cool down by holding my water bottles against my neck and forehead and stuff.
\nBut the first kid who left the classroom when we were told that we\u00a0could go home, decided to be\u00a0extra kind and bought a lot of cold coconut water and paper cups,\u00a0brought them to the classroom, and handed them out to everyone to stay hydrated.
\nWhat an extremely thoughtful gesture!
\nI\u2019m more than grateful for their kindness of them for going all the way, just to buy drinks and cups for us, even though there was no benefit to them at all.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, I’ll meet them next week so I can thank them directly.
\n… Hopefully, the heating will be fixed by the time I use the same classroom again next week.<\/p>\n
