Some of my family members came over to visit Toronto, so I did another tour around the town!
\nI’m sure everyone would agree that you don’t really go to the touristy areas of your neighbourhood unless you’re new there yourself.
\nLike the Harbourfront, Beaver Tails, Rogers Centre, and those “major” places that are quite far from campus.
\nI usually don’t go to those areas either, which means it was also a very interesting time for me as well.<\/p>\n
So\u00a0I went to Niagara Falls!
\nIt’s been a whole 2 years since I last went in 2021, when I first came to Toronto, so that was fun.
\nThere were a lot of changes since last time, especially with how many people were there.
\nFor example, last time we were still trying to figure out what to do with COVID, so borders were closed for many people, and even fewer people were going out all the way to sight-seeing at Niagara.
\nThis meant the queues for everything were really short and we barely had to wait.
\nBut this time, the Niagara Falls cruise was nearly a 1-hour queue!
\nAlso last time, masks were mandatory on the Niagara Falls cruise, which meant my mask was drenched and I had to pull out a new one.
\nBut this year they weren’t.
\nI did learn from my past mistakes and brought\u00a0a spare pair of socks to change into though, which was definitely a good choice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n2 years feels short when you’re living through it, but to look at it this way, a lot has changed over these years.
\nMaybe this final year at the University of Toronto will feel even shorter!<\/p>\n
