I have finished my 4-week internship!
\nWow, time flies. It really doesn’t feel like it’s been so long yet.
\nAs I’ve probably said before, this was my first internship.
\nSo I can’t compare it to other companies, but I’m pretty sure this company must have been\u00a0one of the best places to do an internship!<\/p>\n

It was quite a large company that frequently takes interns, so they were fairly\u00a0used to having people like me around.
\nThat means they had prepared SOPs for onboarding that I could follow and I got a lot of support in that sense.
\nBut I was also located in a rather new department, that was still in some areas at experimental stages, and I was given some flexibility and responsibility in trying to establish a new process.
\nSo in the short term of 4 weeks,\u00a0I think I\u00a0got to benefit from both the good parts of being in a large company and being in a startup!<\/p>\n

It was nice to see what I was and was not capable of, what I wanted to work on about myself and my skills, and it also helped me see what I want or didn’t want to do for the future.<\/div>\n
Surely a learning experience.<\/div>\n

On another note, I saw another friend back from middle school this week.<\/div>\n
We spent the whole 2,3 hours together talking about what we had done in the few years since we last met, and how we didn’t feel grown up enough yet.<\/div>\n
Like how I don’t know how to “adult”, if you know what I mean.<\/div>\n
But it’s comforting to know so many people in my age group feel this way about reaching adulthood. We can grow up together.<\/div>\n
