I’ve been meeting a lot of my childhood friends lately.<\/p>\n

There are a lot more people that are still around in Singapore than I thought, which was to my surprise.
\nI thought I only had 1 friend here but I forgot to count in the people who might be back here for the summer holidays too, like me,\u00a0and the other Singaporean people!
\nIt’s been more than 3 years since I’ve met most of them, so it’s really cool to be able to\u00a0see them again.
\nSome of them I’ve not seen properly since middle school, so they look so different and grown up it’s funny.
\nThe last time I was in Singapore we were having a whole COVID lockdown, so I didn’t even get to say a proper goodbye to these people.
\nEspecially with being in the Singaporean weather again, it really feels like I’m back to when I was in high school.
\nA little sentimental about how much we’ve grown.<\/p>\n

With these old friends, we tend to always talk about old things as well.
\nLike what games we used to play when we were young, what movies we liked, and stuff like that.
\nMy liking of these things and media had always been focused more on Japanese culture, and less on Singaporean or other regions’ media, so I don’t get to talk about it too often.
\nSo it feels extremely special to be able to talk about these things.<\/p>\n

We tend to talk about old things, but hopefully in the future- when we’ve settled a little more about what we’re doing for our jobs and things after university- we can talk more about the current and the future.<\/div>\n
