\nIt’s quickly getting very cold in Toronto, and I’ve already pulled out my coat.<\/p>\n
Compared to last year, this year there are a lot of in-person classes, and the majority of mine are so as well. I’ve definitely underestimated how different my life would be with classes changing to in-person. Also, I don’t have a lot of clothes, because I just didn’t need much of them last year-\u00a0so I\u00a0have to do more frequent laundry to do to catch up with my schedule. \nBoth for my fall term and winter term, almost all of my classes are in-person this year.
\n<\/span>So I’ve got to leave the cosy comfort of my house pretty often!<\/p>\n
\nLike, last year I left my house twice a week on good weeks, and only once if I just attended my lecture.
\nNow I have to go to campus 4 days out of the week and if I see friends on the weekend, more than that!
\nThis means I’m using more makeup, sunscreen, cleanser and stuff that I need to stock up on before I run out…<\/p>\n
\nMaybe I should get more winter clothes whilst I have the time, because I’ll definitely need them later on.
\nDue to me being outdoors much more often now, I’ve used this opportunity to explore the cafes and restaurants in and around the campus.
\nIt’s quite interesting, I didn’t have the chance to explore the downtown area near campus and specifically around Chinatown-\u00a0or more precisely, I didn’t have the energy to leave\u00a0my house to do so- so everything feels quite new.
\nThere are a lot of good restaurants, fast food stores and cafes so there are a lot of menus to get through during this year.<\/p>\n
