Making myself some bacon and scrambled egg wraps again because I can’t be bothered to walk over to the nearest Subway but I’m too hungry not to eat anything.
\nWhy are Subways so expensive here?<\/p>\n

So almost all of my classes this year are in-person classes, which is the most significant difference from last year.
\nIt’s really weird adjusting back to this lifestyle!<\/p>\n

Last year all I had to do was crawl out of bed 10 minutes before opening the 1pm zoom call on the bed, but now I have to wake up at least an hour in advance and spend 30 minutes getting to campus.
\nI know this was all I did back in primary, middle and high school so it shouldn’t even be that hard, but to get up early in the morning- not even really early compared to high school at 6 am, but still feels ridiculously hard to wake up at 9 am nowadays- and wash my face, get dressed, do my hair and makeup, is so terribly energy consuming!<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, I just haven’t had enough\u00a0experience of having to get dressed “for the weather”, so this has become a daily struggle for me. I do try\u00a0reading the weather forecast but I struggle to interpret it, so I’ve given up trying to estimate\u00a0and just go outside to feel how it is.
\nFor example, Singapore is always the same temperature and weather changes are barely there and ignorable, so I just wore the same thing anytime anywhere and called it a day.
\nBut in Toronto, especially this season, weather affects the temperatures a lot and temperatures change rapidly throughout the day, so it is really hard to dress appropriately.
\nLike in the morning it’s warm and the sun is way to bring to walk around without sunglasses, but by the time I come back from campus, the wind is super strong and it’s just too cold to not have a coat on.<\/p>\n

Hopefully I adjust to this soon!<\/p>\n
