So last week I got myself a new proper suit, and this week I needed some new shoes to go with it.
\nIt’s a Japanese standard for women that with a black suit goes a pair of low black heels, often between 3 to 5cm heels.
\nBut it’s extremely hard for me to get those typically shaped heels, because of my awkward foot shape.
\nI have a terribly annoying bunion on both of my feet, so I have to find shoes that fit that too.
\nSo that means either the shoe shape itself is made wide, or I size up my shoes about 0.5 to 1cm larger than my actual feet.<\/p>\n

But I can’t size up heels because then they won’t fit at all, and they don’t create heels as wide as my bunion to fit, because for obvious aesthetic reasons- they won’t look pretty.
\nSo I had to run around many shoe stores and dig deep and wide to find a shoe that fit me in the first place.
\nAnd oh lord that took forever!<\/p>\n

I finally found one that was wide enough to squeeze my foot in, and\u00a0with a strap so the shoe doesn’t fall off whilst walking although it wasn’t exactly my size. Super glad I found one at all.
\nFinding shoes for myself is so hard and so I hate shoe shopping, but all my current shoes are old and visibly worn out, so I probably need to go on another shoe hunt soon.\u00a0Ugh.<\/p>\n
