So it’s finally been one week since I’ve moved to Toronto. But here’s some things that have caught my attention this week!<\/p>\n So the first thing to tell you, eating out is NOT cheap. On the other hand, groceries are not that expensive. I have also noticed something quite unfamiliar to me;\u00a0even if it’s the same chain store, open hours DIFFER PER\u00a0store. \nFeels like a month already!!!
\nLike, I’ve been so active last week.
\nEspecially compared to how minimal I went outdoors when I was in Japan, so it makes me feel like I did a few weeks worth of activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
\nHonestly, I never expected one dish at a food court to be $11.
\nNot a restaurant, a food court!
\nMaybe it’s just my experience at the one I went to, but friends have been telling me the same, so I’m assuming this is the standard in this country.<\/p>\n
\nThere’s a lot of stores that sell groceries all over town so it’s quite convenient, too.
\nI’m sure it would be a lot more affordable to just cook at home.
\n6 bananas were $1.5, how is that not cheap???<\/p>\n
\nIt’s not the same everywhere!
\nMany stores that sell groceries, even the larger chain stores like Shoppers Drug Mart,\u00a0can be\u00a0stores on their own and not inside of a bigger mall; meaning they have different “possible” operating hours.
\nThe same shop can be closing at 8 pm or 11 pm depending on where it’s located!
\nBest looking it up online.<\/p>\n
\nAnd it feels so weird!
\nBright sky with little clouds, with cold winds. Feels like a glitch.<\/p>\n
