I just got my first shot of the Moderna COVID vaccine, so I thought I’d do a quick review of how it went!
\nDo keep in mind that this is only an account of my personal experiences in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

It’s been about 18 hours since I got the shot, and the arm they injected into HURTS.
\nI struggle just to tie my hair up into a pony- like my left arm refuses to go any higher than my shoulder level.
\nWell, I was expecting it to hurt\u00a0after what I had heard and read, but the pain kicked in around 3 hours after the injection, which was way faster than anticipated.
\nGlad to inform you that it’s just the typical pain you would\u00a0get after any intramuscular injection, though.<\/p>\n

It was honestly really simple, and the whole vaccination process took like 5 minutes.
\nYou just show up, they check your registration, you talk to the doctor for 1~2 minutes as they look over your documents, you walk over to the other doctors who give you the shot, and boom, done.
\nAfter that, you’d sit in another room for about 15 minutes to check for any immediate side effects, like any\u00a0allergy responses; then you get to go home.<\/p>\n

I did find red spots appearing on my\u00a0upper arms after the vaccine- which I definitely had an internal panic to, but when the doctor checked me up on that, she told me it looks like a heat rash.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0heat rash from walking in the Tokyo sun of 30 degrees Celcius for like, 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

Why my body gotta be so dramatic!???!? Jeez!! Attention seeker much!!!!<\/p>\n
