So I’m famous in my family for being the worst at waking up on time.
\nEvery family trip we take, I’d always wake up a minute before checkout, and every day for high school, my mother had to come storming into my room or else I’d be late.
\nYou might think I’m just being lazy, but this has actually been such a bother to me that I’ve been trying to overcome… for like… decade and a half.<\/p>\n

Literally all alarm clocks have failed me (as I turn them off still half asleep and go back to sleep), and I always use the “repeating alarms for 30 minutes with 3-minute intervals” method on my phone, but I still can’t be sure I’d wake up to them. Sometimes I just sleep through everything, sometimes I turn them off unconsciously.<\/p>\n

But there has been one alarm that has been rather successful at waking me up, and it’s called a PAVLOK.
\nThis thing is a watch-like structured alarm linked to your phone, that can vibrate, make beeping noises, and even shoot out electrical shocks as an alarm!!!!
\nYou can adjust how strong these functions are, but I always had my electric shocks on 100% to quite literally, kickstart me awake.<\/p>\n

Saying this all, I recently just noticed that my PAVLOK had broken.
\nI did have it for almost 3 years so can’t really blame it, but the electrical function seems to be no longer working.
\nBut this is what I depend on to wake up alone (without my mother pushing me off the bed), so I don’t know what to do with myself if I go to Canada!!!<\/p>\n

Any recommendations for alarm clocks are welcome…<\/p>\n
