I heard on the news that Tokyo might snow this weekend, and was quite scared about it, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to snow anytime soon?
\nKinda scared if it does, I have no clue how to deal with it.<\/span><\/p>\n

So currently I’m being chased by deadlines, and they are both long writing tasks.
\nThere surely is a variation of tasks we get given in university, but the ones that get me the most is long writing.<\/p>\n

First, I am an extreme procrastinator, so I can never start tasks early enough to not rush it at the end, especially if it’s a long task with a long deadline.
\nI keep telling myself “I can start later”. I can’t.
\nI’m also bad at giving up, such as I will forever edit my work because I’m never satisfied enough, and will keep making the smallest changes until 1 minute before the deadline.
\nWhich anyway, automatically makes me rush\u00a0every single task I do, but sure.<\/p>\n

The ones I’m currently working on are for economics and gender studies, both writing but completely\u00a0different tasks.
\nFor economics, I am expected to write a whole op-ed (short for opinion editorial, a style of writing that is often used in newspapers) about a recent article, and include references from 2 past in-class readings.
\nI know for a fact that I’m definitely going to struggle to\u00a0incorporate that…
\n<\/span>For gender studies, I need to spend an hour outside of class time for an extracurricular event including volunteers and seminars, and to make a report about it.
\nThis one is personally is an extremely difficult task, as many of the events that the professors had been recommending were in-person events in CANADA that I couldn’t visit.
\nRecently there have been a lot more online events because of the lockdown, and I’m planning to join one real soon so I can get started on the task.<\/p>\n

Ironic enough, the fact that the covid situation is not getting any better, is giving me a much larger variety to chose from now.<\/p>\n
