So I went on a trip this week to Sendai, Miyagi!! With my parents and grandparents!!<\/p>\n

We usually go on large trips at the end of the year, but because the Japanese government is doing a campaign right now to get people travelling so they spend more money (for economic purposes because COVID) and I had my week off university, we thought it would be better for both my parents and me to plan it now.<\/p>\n

Which meant we went around the not-too-cold times!<\/p>\n

Like, I found it freezing cold because it was like 5 degrees Celcius every day, but it gets so much colder in December and on so I guess it’s better than that.<\/p>\n

We also managed to dodge the super crowded season so that was nice!<\/p>\n

One of the hot springs\u00a0we went, called Shintoro, is super famous and well known for having extremely long queues during the winter and autumn leaves season. The autumn leaves season is beautiful because all the green leaves turn into vibrant yellows and reds before they fall off for winter, giving the whole mountain an amazing view. It is also popular during winter because it gets so cold and has ski fields.<\/p>\n

We went about just right in the middle of these seasons when nothing much was going on, so that was good:))
\nAll the hot springs we went around were amazing and truly a one time only experience.<\/p>\n

Oh jeez the hotel food was amazing…
\nHere’re just a snapshot of what we had. There was so much food I was waaaay too full after every single meal!<\/span><\/p>\n

And here is a picture from when we went hiking in the forest to see the leftover (I feel like there were mostly still there though) autumn leaves. The image above in the Japanese section is the leaves itself, and this is just a little stream we walked by. This looks super wintery compared to the one above, don’t you think?<\/p>\n

When we were high up in the mountains it started raining a little- till we found out that instead of rain, it was actually small hailstones!<\/p>\n

The first time I experienced that, in like, forever. That was nice.<\/p>\n
