Due to the messed up, 13hours flipped schedule I’m taking to keep up with EDT, the only “Tokyo-ish” thing was to go to a bubble tea store (that also exists in Singapore).
\nBut oh well.
\nBubble tea’s a top priority, isn’t it?<\/p>\n

A friend of mine from UWC has their parents living in Japan, so they plan to come over during winter and stay around in Tokyo until COVID calms down,\u00a0and is currently working on getting their visa sorted.
\nI reaaallllyyy enjoy having them around so I hope the visa gets published asap…<\/p>\n

\nThere are obviously a LOT more things to do this academic year.
\nI’m suspecting that this is not only because we’re not there on campus, but more because all our homework is online. What happens when all questions are done online?<\/p>\n

The website marks it, not the professor or the teaching assistant. The website does the correcting.<\/p>\n

So the staff don’t have to worry looking through all of it and hence just put through more and more work!!
\nBut students only have so much time!!!!!<\/p>\n

The most annoying thing about all these mini-quizzes and homework questions is that they as a whole, the average score throughout the whole academic term, accounts for like 5% of the final scores.<\/div>\n
It is a tiny percentage, but I can’t afford to drop 5%, so I have to do all the pile of work seriously.<\/div>\n
