I went outside today and was super surprised at how cold it was!
\nOf course, Singapore lies on the equator and hence does not have seasons, so all I got to experience for the past 12 years was solid SUMMER.
\nAnd a hint of winter when I went back to Japan occasionally, but no seasons in between.
\nI think literally it’s been 12 years since I experienced autumn, and it’s been quite interesting so far.<\/p>\n

To start, I did not expect the temperature to drop so quickly.
\nBecause I remember a few weeks ago it was still blazing hot around 35 degrees Celcius, and I was out wearing a t-shirt with shorts, but yesterday I was in jeans and STILL shaking at how cold the wind was!
\nLucky I had my cardigan with me, but would have frozen without it, I swear.<\/p>\n

Maybe I’m being overreactive and all Japanese people aren’t cold yet, but as a person that is used to 30++ degrees Celcius average, anything below 30 is cold.
\nAnd today is 22 degrees Celcius<\/strong>. Like- wha- how is it already so cold?!!?!?<\/p>\n

It really hit me when I saw all the menus from my favourite cafe change from summer-ly, cold drinks and ice cream to hot drinks and all that jazz.
\nOh wow, it’s actually autumn now.<\/p>\n

Can you believe I’ve already been in Japan for 3 months?? It’s been a blink!<\/p>\n
