Japan is still hot and summer feels like forever, but time is actually passing, and the start of university is already less than a month away.<\/p>\n

Can you believe that?<\/p>\n

After all that rest since school ended in March, I have not done anything, and I’m pretty worried I won’t be able to get back to studying from September…<\/p>\n

As university starts soon, orientations have started and have been happening recently.<\/p>\n

From stuff like panel talks from seniors to the introduction of some college staff, they even recreated “The amazing race”- which is an annual event UofT holds around campus that works like a stamp rally to learn buildings we would use during school term- that would have happened in person, but online! On zoom!<\/p>\n

I feel like everything nowadays is just done online via zoom.<\/p>\n

I get that it’s an easy application to use, but as someone who clung onto Skype and discord for a long time, it feels different and interesting how we all are just using the same application everywhere.<\/p>\n

Well, it’s nice to know and I’m very thankful how the school tried and did so much to organise all this online. It must have been so hard and tedious…<\/p>\n

I mean, I need to start from replying to people’s text messages so I can actually make friends in the first year of university. Wish me luck!!!<\/p>\n
