I've been thinking about getting those Japanese bangs- for like 10 years- but never have enough courage to cut my hair so much. Kate here. <\/p>\n

Exam week is over!!<\/p>\n

That means I don't have to worry about anything for the rest of the grade!! (Not really)<\/p>\n

So there are 3 blocks per day; 8:30~11:00, 11:00~1:00, 1:30~3:30.<\/p>\n

Each block can have 2 or 3 subjects at the same time, because the exam hall is quite big, and can fit so much.<\/p>\n

If you're unlucky, you might have 3 papers on the same day. Or you might not have any that day, which then you don't need to go to school. <\/p>\n

Exams of IB are quite different from them in Japan.<\/p>\n

Large scale tests in Japan are often multiple choices, where you fill in the circle for which answer seems right, and is scanned and marked by machines which reacts to the shaded area. <\/p>\n

In the IB system, 80% of exams are written essays. <\/div>\n

Humanities, psychology for me, requires so much essay writing. I wrote 8 pages worth of essay in 2 hours, all in ballpoint pen. Ouch. My middle finger is still sore from it.<\/div>\n
Also, correction fluid\/tape is not allowed, so it's really annoying when you make a mistake.<\/div>\n
Especially in maths, when you've been aligning your workings and everything so it's easy to read, then you make a mistake, and the workings look ugly now. So annoyingggg!!!!!<\/div>\n
