We get set loads on like, the last 2 or 3 weeks.<\/p>\n

You know, I don't even do iGCSEs and I had about 6 essays and reports in the past 2 weeks!<\/p>\n

Couldn't it have been more evenly spread out through the term?<\/p>\n

Before, I always had this thinking that to go over to a friends house, you need to be really close to that person.<\/div>\n
But maybe that's a really Japanese way of thinking things…<\/div>\n
It was some time ago, but I really had a cultural shock once.<\/div>\n

I was staying over at my friends, and her parents were.. well, very chill about me being there.<\/div>\n
When it was around supper time, though I was getting hungry they hadn't called out to my friend or myself about when to have dinner, so I asked my friend when dinner would be. <\/div>\n
She looked at me straight and said "Oh, are you hungry? Lets go cook then".<\/div>\n

It was such a surprise to me that not all countries, or maybe just families, eat together.<\/div>\n
Maybe that's why her parents were so cool with me being around, because they knew they wouldn't interfere with me.<\/div>\n
